About Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar

 

Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar began with a simple idea — fresh oysters, good company, and a little taste of the coasts brought back to Omaha.

Originally, everything started with Oyster Wednesdays at Absolutely Fresh Seafood Market. Every Wednesday night, we offered a rotating variety of oysters on the half-shell along with a small menu for our regular customers. Before long, word spread throughout the community, and we quickly found ourselves running out of seats.

Because of that growing demand, we decided to open the first Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar location while keeping it connected to the fish market at 119th and Pacific. As a result, we’re able to maintain the freshness and quality our guests expect. In fact, having direct access to the seafood market ensures our oysters and seafood are consistently at their best.

Not surprisingly, we’ve been a hit ever since. Soon after opening, requests for additional locations began coming in. Rather than ignore that support, we listened. Today, Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar proudly operates three locations, all made possible by our loyal guests and community.

Whether you’re enjoying fresh oysters, a rotating raw bar selection, or classic seafood favorites, quality and consistency remain our top priorities. Above all, we strive to create a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere where great seafood speaks for itself.
